My Mac Lipstick Collection....and the ongoing journey to purchase them ;)

My Current Mac lipstick Collection~!
Mac lipsticks are probably one of my favorite formulas for lipstick hands down.
But between each shades and formulas, there are huge differences.
I do not own that much mac lipsticks to be fair. But these are the one that I go back to again and again :)

Starting from the right!

First one is called 'Peach Stock' in Satin formula. It is browny peach nude color. Even if it is nude color, it is very nude for my skin tone which is in mac NC25 to NC30. Satin formula in Mac is not my favorite formula in their line but this color is very versatile in many ways. This was my first lipstick that I ever bought from mac. I use this when I'm wearing strong eye shadow looks or want to muted down color of other lipsticks.

Second one is called 'See Sheer' in lustre formula. Because it is in Lustre formula, this one is very moisturizing and does not exaggerate dry patches in my lips. This is what I call rosy peach pink color which works for everyday makeup. It works with every makeup that I wore. It is fail-safe option for me if I do not know what to put on my lips.
I have to pick up new one as matter of fact ;)

Third one is probably classic browny pink color and this reminds me of Kylie Jenner kind of look for certain. It is called 'Twig' in satin formula. I had to order this because mac counter that I went was out of stock for this shade. this will be good color for both fall and winter. I do not gravitate toward these kinds of shade in spring or summer usually but on occasion, this is my go to Kylie Jenner look lipstick.

Fourth on from the right is called 'Lustering' in Lustre formula. This is more toward on pink side rather than peachy shade. Because it is lustre formula, it is very moisturizing and comfortable on lips. I recommend makeup beginners to get this shade as it is quite a pick me up shade for me. When I am pale in winter and use this shade, it makes my face alive than any other mac shade that I own. This is also one of my favorite mac shades in the bunch.

Fifth one is called 'Dangerous' in matte formula. Matte formula in Mac has its variation in their shade as Ruby Woo is very matte where as this one and the following shade after this are not that matte in my opinion. Yes, it is matte formula but it is very comfortable matte formula compared to Ruby Woo, one of the most famous shades that Mac has. 'Dangerous' is definitely orange-red that is suitable for many undertones. It is not that orange that makes many people uncomfortable to wear. If you are beginner in orange red lipstick, this is good one for you to try.

Last Reddish and classic color that I own is called 'Russian Red'. This is more classic red color with blueish tinge. Compared to Ruby Woo, this is little bit darker. So, if you want to try little dark classic red color, this is the one for you. I wear this shade with minimum makeup with not so much eye shadows. Just with eyeliner and little bit of bronzer and highlighter, you are good to go with this color. Added bonus) your teeth looks much whiter ;)

Last and Final one is called 'Diva'. This is also classic shade that mac has in matte formula. For me, this is classic fall and winter shade. I like to wear this shade with glowy minimal makeup. It is dark berry shade but comfortable to wear since it has reddish tinge in it. This one was my first try in dark lipstick and can call it very success. If you are afraid to use this dark lipstick you can just use your finger and dab the lipstick on you lips for more natural application. Using it this way, it is stunning for everyday makeup.(Maybe I should demonstrate in future post~!)
